Data released by Gartner said that the trend of using mobile applications downloaded in 2015 was 170 billion. This figure, is expected to increase to 270 billion in 2017. This shows, the trend of increasing the use of mobile applications almost doubled until 2017.

The same thing happens in terms of income. According to data released by Statista, in 2015 revenue from mobile applications worldwide reached US $ 45 billion, and is predicted to rise to US $ 76 billion in 2017.
